The Square Dance quilt pack contains instructions for blocks for a colourwash quilt.  There are several layout suggestions included, so that the quilt maker can select from a number of designs or make up their own.  One of the suggested designs is shown in the photograph on the front cover.  The finished size of the quilt is about 150 cm (59 inches) square.

Extensive use is made of fast-piecing methods, eliminating the need for placing and piecing lots of little squares, as is often the case with colourwash quilts.

This pattern is recommended for an beginner to intermediate-level patchworker.  There are General Instructions giving a detailed background to quilt making procedures, and specific instructions for constructing this quilt.
